Moreno Valley Christian School believes that a student's educational achievement is best reflected by assessing two distinct areas:
  • Academics
  • Attitude/Behavior

Each area is essential to the student's success at school.  Although the student's attitude and study habits are not directly included in the academic grade, they do greatly influence their performance in the subject area.

Teachers should give a list of expectations to each student that will be used for citizenship grade determination.  Citizenship grades reflect classroom and playground behavior.

Moreno Valley Christian School has four nine/ten week grading periods.  Quarter grades are based on the student's work during each nine week period of each semester.  Quarter grades are not averaged together at any time during the school year and are part of the student's permanent academic record.

Report cards are distributed within one week after the marking period ends except for the fourth quarter.  Fourth quarter report cards are mailed at the end of June.
