The school has an obligation to foster high standards of personal conduct in all matters.  By fostering these standards, our students will be better prepared for life.  The school will not tolerate any instances of academic dishonesty.
Cheating is defined as:    
  1. Looking at another student's test or quiz paper

  2. Using a "cheat sheet"

  3. Helping others with answering questions

  4. Any form of communication during a test or quiz

  5. Stealing a test or quiz or the distribution of a stolen test or quiz

First Offense

  • "F" on Test or Quiz

  • Telephone Contact with Parent by Teacher

Second Offense

  • "F" on Test or Quiz

  • Parent Conference with Teacher

  • Discipline Report

Third Offense

  • "F" on Test or Quiz

  • Suspension

  • Parent Conference with Principal Before Student Returns to School

Plagiarism

  • Students Who Plagiarize will Receive an "F" on the Paper on the First Offense
